Troy & Stacey Harp started The Curbing Edge, LLC in 2002, and we've been shaping yards across Middle Tennessee ever since. We're the region's original decorative concrete curbing company, a family-owned and owner-operated business where every project gets personal attention from the first phone call to the final edge.
How It All Started
Troy came to Murfreesboro in 2000 to play baseball at Middle Tennessee State University. While working towards his degree in Concrete Industry Management, he stumbled into something that caught his attention: decorative landscape curbing. It was already popular in other parts of the country, but had yet to make its way to Middle Tennessee.
While attending MTSU, Troy met his wife, Stacey, a Middle Tennessee native who was born and raised in the area. Together, they shared the vision of bringing decorative concrete curbing to the Nashville area and built The Curbing Edge, LLC from the ground up.
Although Troy was drafted by the Atlanta Braves, he had other plans. Still in college, he and Stacey launched The Curbing Edge, introducing decorative concrete curbing to Middle Tennessee. That one decision shaped everything that came after.
For several years, Stacey continued her career in education while helping grow The Curbing Edge. After starting their family, she joined the business full-time in 2014. Today, Troy and Stacey work side by side, leading the company and remaining actively involved in every aspect of the business.
More than 20 years later, Troy is still hands-on. He's passionate about the craft, actively trains others in the industry across the country, and has designed custom stamps available exclusively through The Curbing Edge, LLC. You won't find those anywhere else in the region. The Curbing Edge remains a family-owned and operated business built on quality craftsmanship, innovative design, and a commitment to treating every customer's home as if it were our own.
